how to create a website for free and earn money

Would you like to learn how to create your own website and make money online? In this blog post, I will share with you how I was able to create my first website, which currently generates a few hundred dollars per month in passive income. I’ll start from the beginning, and by the end of this article, you should be ready to make your own website as well!

How Does It Work?

If you are new to creating websites, don’t worry, it is easier than it sounds. There are services available that offer hosting at no cost. The content management system WordPress is one of them. Here is a tutorial video showing how to set up your own ecommerce store using WordPress (the same idea can be applied with any CMS). Once you have your site set up, you can market it as much as possible and as fast as possible in order to reach out to potential customers/clients/users. As long as your product or service fits in with today’s trends, there should be no problem when it comes to finding customers online.

How Can I Earn Money with Izea?

If you’re interested in earning some extra cash, you may be able to get a job at home as an online research participant. Though these jobs aren’t always easy to find, they do exist. One site that advertises these opportunities is Izea. This is one of several sites that posts openings with numerous companies looking for people who are willing to complete surveys or participate in focus groups. These are not always paid positions, but it doesn’t cost anything—and it may lead you down another path. For example, after completing surveys on Izea and other similar sites, some users have been offered entry-level jobs working directly with data scientists at those same companies.

What Kind of Websites Can I Create?

One of my favorite ways to make money online is by creating niche websites. Niche websites are focused on very specific topics that can be easily monetized through affiliate marketing, display advertising, or other means. I've been making money with niche sites for several years now. My first niche site started in 2003, so I know a lot about how they work. Over time I've created more than 100 of them. They’ve allowed me to sell physical products, software services, information products, ebooks, and much more besides. Today we're going to look at how you can set up your own niche site from scratch (it's easier than you might think).

Is There Any Cost to Join?

If you’re looking to launch your own business from home, it’s important to ask yourself if there is any cost that might come with that venture. If there are monthly costs, such as paying for your own office space or IT equipment, make sure you have enough savings in place so that these payments don’t impact your finances each month. The last thing you want is to put yourself into debt—or live paycheck-to-paycheck—simply because you didn’t think things through when creating your new business. Look at all of your expenses before starting up a side business so that you can be certain it will bring in enough money.

Another aspect you’ll want to consider before launching your own home business is how much you plan on investing in your venture. Are you looking at creating a side hustle that will bring in some extra income? If so, it may be worth only spending a little bit of money at first until you’re certain that your business idea will stick. Another option is to start small with an online shop or other type of online business. This option is less likely to cost very much upfront because you can use platforms like Shopify or WordPress instead of having to invest in expensive IT equipment.

How Do I Get Paid?
While there are lots of ways to make money, one important thing to note is that most people who earn income through e-commerce do so with affiliate marketing. It’s an interesting system that rewards its affiliates (or affiliates) based on performance. Typically, you sign up with an affiliate program that has a payout threshold, which is usually anywhere from $100-$10,000 per sale. Once you make enough sales within a certain timeframe (usually 60 days), your earnings are eligible for payout—meaning you get paid! That said, it’s really hard work. You need traffic on your site. Lots of it! It may take months or years before your first sale...but once it happens?
To get started, you’ll need a domain name. You can get one from your web host or domain name registrar, but either way you want something easy to remember—and ideally something that will make it clear what your site is about. Next, you’ll need a platform. There are lots of sites out there (we’ve listed some of our favorites below), but if you want something super simple and fast, WordPress is always a good option. As an added bonus, it also has really great plug-ins that can help add all sorts of functionality and aesthetics to your site—and it’s totally free!

Will This Work in My Country?
While many parts of creating a website are universal, there are some nuances that might limit your earning potential. For example, while we all like getting paid with PayPal, they don't allow merchants based in certain countries. If you live in one of those countries (Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar/Burma, North Korea, Sudan), you'll want to look elsewhere when choosing how you want to accept payments. Similarly, some affiliate programs aren't available in certain countries (in fact no affiliate programs currently work in North Korea!), so you may not be able to promote products from companies such as Amazon or Apple if you're trying to make money from your site.

Am I Protected by Law?
In India, all workers are entitled to minimum wages. However, if you are running an ecommerce business where there is no fixed office or if you have registered your business outside of India, chances are that you may not be protected by law. If you do not pay minimum wages (or any wages), a person could file an FIR against you under Section 176 of IPC at her/his local police station. This would make it difficult for you to start your business with ease! In such cases, remember that crime doesnt pay! You can go online and check if there is a similar case involving anyone running an ecommerce business in your city/town so that it does not happen again.
